The Founding of New Horizon Private Schools.
New Horizon Private Schools opened its doors on September 11, 2016, with a vision to provide high-quality education that meets global standards. Founded by Mrs. Beatrice Ngozi Ikeako, our school began as a primary institution for children aged three months to twelve years and has since expanded to include secondary education. Mrs. Ikeako, who previously operated a similar school in Aurora, Colorado, brought her wealth of experience and dedication to creating an inclusive, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Early Beginnings
The school started with just one pupil in Primary Four, Ifechukwu Anikwenze, quickly followed by Faisal Atarus in Grade Two and two children in the Creche. These humble beginnings laid the foundation for a school that has grown steadily, both in student numbers and in its offerings. Our initial focus was on providing a strong primary education, and over the years, we have extended our curriculum to include a comprehensive range of classes from Creche through to Secondary.
